hello dear admin or staff,
i can see rules why other user can take nick someone used Q auth. and how to resolve that problem ?
look at (whois) my nick the auth could be the same with nick,samebody just take over my nick with other Q auth or maybe not register, .
please can you resolved to nick must be together with the auth ?

Because, there is no nickname protection. An authname is just a username to use Q and the services with, it is not linked at all to your nickname. Nicknames are first come, first serve.
We don't use this on Quakenet and never have done, and never will do. It doesn't work very well on large networks and definitely not on gaming networks.
