Hello, I tried to apply for a trust, to be used with my non-commercial bouncers. However i keep getting the following message (email actually):
Status: Bad Request
Reason: You are required to run an IDENT (AUTH) service.
We're running psyBNC2.3.2-7 + oidentd and ports seem to be in order. A friend who's administrating told me to copy this, i have no clue what it means but here it goes :)

Hi everyone,
Apologies if this is the wrong forum.
I am running a bouncer on behalf of my team and our trust just got accepted so I'm getting everyone setup but I'm having the problem that when connecting to quakenet I am disconnected with the following message:
User USERNAME () got disconnected (from irc.quakenet.org) Reason: Your host is trying to (re)connect too fast -- throttled
Is it something on my end I need to change or is this something that Quakenet can deal with on their end?

I was speaking with some friends on a channel ( #israel )
and some people come in the channel ( #israel ) and say " Fuck Israel !, Palestin will win !" so we answered that Palestine sux, israel is better or something else
And i've been disconnected and i cant connect myself on QuakeNet channel because this message apperas :

Hello, I just got glined by this guy gpq. He admitted he will be selectively glining me for no reason. Now i don't think this is the way a public network is ment to be supervised? If i'm wrong, ignore this and delete post.

Not sure if you can help. nobody seems to know :(
But my mIRC disconnects randomly. Its only done it since my new router but I have no idea what to look for to change. it also only does it when i have been idle.
I have read about stuff that goes offline due to having an idle limit but im with VM - cable so figured that wouldnt be the case as its always online.
I can be in a game and on Vent at the same time but mIRC will still disconnect and then reconnect. its very frustrating.
any ideas would be much appreviated.

This is kinda curious in my opinion... I was talking with a supporter like 6 months ago and I talked with them about quakenet trusts, which are non-commercial... I was also talking about a sponsoring project which I was planning and he told me, that this wouldnt be a problem. I started this project and I tried to request trust, the first reason, why I the request got rejected, that too less were in the channel... then it means, that the channel doesnt seem to need a trust... then it says you dont support bouncer sponsoring and then I explained my whole idea about it and now the admin said, that I shouldn't fool them and I should re-request... Well... curious in my opinion... even though... channels like #eschy.de got trust, even if they just sponsor those bouncers... curious... aint it? Thanks

I got G-Lined on my laptop earlier - ID 66f626fe - because apparently I had a Trojan. It happened straight after I changed my Full Name/Email Address in mIRC to aaaaaaaaaaa (don't ask) and then reconnected. I've run a fully-updated full scan with AVG and it can't find any such trojans so I'm just wondering if you can narrow it down.

At me a question: whether It is possible as нибудь to make, what the right column with users on the channel would be always for all channels of one volume? Can exists what be a script?
I have noticed, if you do the right column more on one channel (an example #virtus.pro) in a file mirc.ini keeps such adjustments:

To not enter for each channel, to me and it is necessary or a script or still that be!
Who can knows as it to make???

If you could remove whatever ban has been put on my IP that would be great. : 82.69.171.150 as it's static.
In addition could you investigate the guy who's done this and take any action?

I know what "G-lined" means, but can someone explain to me is this a mistake or you have really baned whole IP range for the biggest ADSL provaider In Serbia ( TELEKOM, that is goverment company ) ??
Also i would like to know is there any chance to fix this or do I have to find another way to contact my friends?

everything alright but then i wanted to validate it and typed

I had L on my channel before which was then changed to Q after the upgrade. I got a msg saying that Q will be restarted and that it will be back soon but it never did...
I've been trying to request Q all day but i only get the error:
-R- Error: Sorry, Your channel '#thedoublehelix' was created recently. Please Try again in an hour.
The channel was created long time ago.
Any advice would be very much appreciated

sha256 is different from HMAC-SHA-256? I didn`t found any HMAC-SHA-256 proc for tcl.
I would be glad if someone could provide an updated challengeauth.tcl.

Hi, i got g-lined due to proxies but i'm pretty sure i have no proxies, there's a way to look for proxies in my pc? If i reconnect internet a few times sometimes i can join (i have dynamic ip), that's why i say i have no proxies...
The other day i could connect normally, and after 30mins logged i got g-lined by proxies :\.

for a last few days i have been g-lined by proxy botnet detection.
I am using irssi on my router, where also squid (http proxy) is running, I dont know anything about other proxy. Also i am quite sure squid is not accesible from internet. What can I do to prevent future g-lined?

I had to reboot my Ubuntu box and my router this morning.
When i connected to quakenet irssi joined all my autojoin channels but immediately disconnected.
Now when i try to connect I get this:

Since I'm using unix without root-credentials I highly doubt I'd have a trojan. I also have no 3rd party scripts on my irc-client.
So.. What's wrong?
EDIT: I tried to connect with my Windows box and it gave the exact same error although the boxes have different IP:s.
So either I've simultaneously gotten infected with a trojan which affects both Linux and Windows, irssi and x-chat OR I'm not infected with anything and QuakeNet's detection algorithm is flawed.

There's an old game known as 'Starsiege' - One of the features of the game was that it had an IRC client built into the game. This works like nearly any other, allowing you to connect to different servers, etc.
However, when I try to point it to any quakenet IRC server, it simply crashes the entire game. Does anyone have any idea on what would cause this? I have used it before to connect to different servers (irc.esper.net being one of them), but it seems to crash only on quakenet

This appear me lots of times in last weeks. I runned lots of antivir/spyware software and i dont have anything in my pc. When the ban expires, and i connect to quakenet again, after some hours it ban me again always with the same reason... What it can be? Maybe troubles with others programs?

My Q auth just got suspended.. and, to be honest, I would like to know why. Especially as the reason stated by Q sounds like a.. joke.

My name is Sven and I use irc for long...Yesterday i ordered new internet, now i can't join to mirc, i had other connection before was no problem to connect, now i have problem like this :

I want to use IRC :SS, i never done smth stupid like spamming,hacking, w/e..its because of new internet and some how i cant get in to irc.... So please remove it....
